Amy Dean has attained signature membership in the National and Florida Watercolor Societies. Her work has appeared in the National Watercolor Society's 2006 Exhibition as well as being selected for that years traveling exhibition. Most recently, her painting "Butterfly Girl, Korea 1953" was selected to appear in "Splash 13, Alternative Approaches" North Light Books annual best of watercolor volume. Her powerful use of light and perspective, specifically as it relates to the human figure, are conveyed with excellent technique and personal style that allow the viewer insight into the world of her subjects through the eyes of the artist.

A native of South Florida, Amy's work has appeared in numerous shows and exhibitions along the east coast. Currently she resides in Billings, Montana where she maintains a studio/gallery and draws her inspiration from her friends and environs.
